German Dual Party 1004S - Stereo Transcription Turntable - Like NEW, from late 50's (1956).

VERY RARE & Collectible model, cherished & preserved in almost Perfect working order all-the-way around:
- Start/Stop/Repeat;
- Single Play/Continuous Play (Loop);
- Single Mode (short Spindle)/Changing Records Mode (long Spindle);
- 4 Speed Selector Switch (16, 33, 45, 78 t/min);
- all Controls, Knobs & Switches works flawlessly;

The Dual 1004 can change a maximum of 10 record plates with different diameters. After pressing the start button the gramophone starts and the showhead automatically searches for the lead-in groove of the record. Dual uses a patented Luxor invention for this.

A record can be repeated via the REPEAT button. Furthermore, a STOP button is provided.

Accessories are a short plate pin, a long change shaft and a centering piece for 45-speed plates.

The Cartridge: (Tonkopfeinschub) K or KS2 - Duplo stereo pickup system CDS3 in color ivory or CDS320/3 in color red &
The Needle: Duplo sapphire needle DN2 or DN3

The model 1004S has the ability to play stereo discs and to play the stereo effect. if so far a suitable stereo amplifier is connected.
